FairWild
The FairWild Standard is managed by the FairWild Foundation and was founded in 2008. The certification applies to any wild plant collectors who want to demonstrate their commitment to socially and environmentally sustainable wild collections.

Product BusinessStandard Summary
- The collection business to be certified with FairWild
- All actors in the supply chain should be certified or registered with the FairWild Foundation
- For a finished product to be prominently labeled on the pack, at least 20% of a product's dry weight must be certified with FairWild (10% for cosmetics)
- FairWild requires transparent price calculation and mechanisms to allow for fairer price payments to collectors
- An additional premium is paid to a community benefit fund
- Ingredients should be collected so as to maintain resources
- Audits are annual and in-person unless exceptional circumstances
