- The practice must be implemented across the business/facility
- Offsets do not qualify
- When compared to more carbon-intensive alternatives, the comparison should be made with similar products with the same use case
Publication Requirements
- Outline practice(s) and what they are targetting
- The claim must be clearly attributed to the supply chain stage at which the initiative is implemented
Accepted Evidence
Evidence should strongly support the claim and will be made publicly available
- Clear credible evidence that the practice has been implemented e.g. a geolocalised timestamped picture or a report
Accepted Verifiers
Verifiers are third parties who can confirm the validity of a given Proof Point
- Third party (and in some cases supplier) involved in the practice
