- Animals were free to roam outside at least 80% of the year from birth to the abattoir (in countries or years where the weather conditions are harsh this figure might be lower)
- At least 80% of their feed must have been grass or forage
- Up to 20% of the feed can be grain
- GMO (genetically modified organism) feed is not accepted

- Average number of days spent outside a year or previous year's figures
Accepted Evidence
Evidence should strongly support the claim and will be made publicly available
- It can be supported by geolocalised time-stamped pictures of the animals in the field
- Aggregate data of farming practices
